From tree lightings to festive concerts, there's something for everyone this Christmas. We've collected a list of some of our favorite events below - we hope you enjoy them!

- The Rockin' Christmas Party at Stone Mountain Park 

Visit any one operating day, Nov. 12, 2022 - Jan. 1, 2023, to enjoy park attractions and Stone Mountain Christmas. Includes access to New World's Largest Christmas Light Show, Scenic Railroad, Historic Square, Mini Golf, seasonal live entertainment and more!

- Fantasy in the Lights, Breakfast with Santa at Callaway Gardens Resort (December-January)

Rated as one of the Top 10 Christmas Light Displays in the World by National Geographic, Callaway Gardens’ Fantasy In Lights is truly a wondrous sight to behold.

The centerpiece is a drive through 2,500 dazzling acres lined with 8 million holiday lights, divided thematically into 16 sections that include “Snowflake Valley” and “Magical Christmas Garden,” with festive Christmas music playing throughout.

Macy’s Great Tree

Reminiscent of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree in New York, this Atlanta gem has been an anticipated yearly holiday staple since 1948. Holiday goers can enjoy the 90-foot pine tree with thousands of lights illuminate Lenox Square, take a ride on the famed Pink Pig Train, and lift their hearts with the sound of the season with Christmas carolers performing all their old favorites.

Christmas Lights 

Christmas lights are a classic part of the holiday season and they can be found all over Metro Atlanta. Whether you've got family in town or just want to get out and enjoy a festive display, these cities have some great options for viewing incredible Christmas light shows. 

Christmas lights at Stone Mountain, Georgia are a must-see spectacle during the holiday season. Every year, Stone Mountain Park is illuminated with thousands of breathtakingly beautiful multi-colored festive lights and decorations that create a magical winter wonderland for visitors to enjoy. From towering trees to buildings and poles, every inch of the park is awash in color and light. 

World’s Largest Christmas Light Show

Celebrate the spirit of the season with this 20-minute experience. Your favorite holiday songs are brought to life with unique videos, new special effects and a fireworks finale. Before you know it, the whole family will be singing along!

You don't want to miss this special appearance from Santa himself as he flies overhead in his sleigh each night during the Enchanted Tree Lighting Ceremony!*

*Some shows, including Drones, Santa’s Flight, and Snow Angel’s flight, may be canceled due to winds and unfavorable weather.

The Christmas lights display at Whitewater is a sight to behold. There are over 500 twinkling lights strung throughout the park, from trees, to buildings and poles - creating an enchanting winter wonderland that's sure to make your heart skip a beat! The displays are so impressive that they often attract photographers and sightseers come just to take pictures and marvel at their magnificence. Some of the highlights include an intricately detailed snowman scene lit up with white LED lights, a dazzling light show featuring Santa riding in his sleigh across a starry sky with reindeer following behind him, and a stunning ice castle made entirely out of blue and white icicle lights.

Life University's Lights of Life is a magical Christmas experience like no other. The event features tens of thousands of twinkling lights, festive musical performances, and a variety of fun activities for the whole family. Pony and train rides are offered as well, with concessions available if you need to take a break from all the excitement.
